These look so cute and the price was the best compared to local stores. You also get more feet of lights compared to the store. I highly recommend.Looks perfect. Plenty of lights for a great price!Bought orange and purple. Purple looks more pink but that’s fine I don’t mind it. They look really pretty regardless.The lights are fine. However there in no replacement 'flasher bulb' there are 3 replacement bulbs and 1 fuse but no bulb to make lights flash or Twinkle. The lights have a nice golden glow. I use one box (150) lights to decorate my 4' tree. They do not over heat or are hot to touch. ...I don't think they make Christmas lights to twinkle anymore. It is a great disappointment. They have lights that 'FLASH' (for Rock music) but none that I can find to blink softly at different times as in days past 'they use too.'They work just like Christmas light should work but at quite bright.Was super excited to use these for Halloween, but after plugging them in inside to test them out I noticed a burning smell. I was trying to figure out where it was coming from and discovered it was the light strand. I unplugged it immediately and even hovering my hand above the strands I could feel heat. Touching the actual bulbs they were hot to hold. Not just warm. Hot.I had purchased another strand too because my plan was to connect them (instructions say you’re able to connect a number of the strands together) and that one also got very hot within ten minutes.The bulbs are supposed to be LED and LED should not get hot like these are. The burning smell is what really concerned me though. If that was only after a few minutes I would not trust it to be ok plugged in for hours.Instructions also say for indoor or outdoor use but personally I do not think it’s safe to use these strands anywhere, due to the burning smell both strands gave off as well as the super hot lights.I like it and I hope it lasts a few ChristmasesIncandescent bulbs give a much brighter light than LEDs.Very pleased with these.
