Love this show. Substantial writing about small town life. I got it because I like the writers/producers, who also did Parenthood, an even better series about family and humanity, which made me laugh and cry with every episode. THis show is a close second. I've never been a football fan, but that's secondary to the plot; it might get a male fan interested in a show that has a lot more to it, and it's actually helped me understand the game a little so I can get interested in the real thing. Maybe.
