These candles are very cute and work well. They look like real flames and the leaves kind of glow through them.Best flameless candles i have bought. Fall decorated. Lovely.This is a set of nicely made fall accent candles, that require AA batteries. Remote & timer works great. These are wax candles, that have a tightly taped plastic protector sheet tightly taped to each candle for protection during shipping. It is easily removable by using a seam ripper or small knife to slit the clear plastic edge. Be careful not to damage the wax during the removal process.This is a beautiful set: provides beauty, warmth, and functionality to a room.The timer has several settings that have been useful with the changing of sunset throughout fall and winter. Candles create enough light for ambience but don't expect them to light up the room. Would recommend for seasonal decor.The lights are pretty and I love them. The only reason it isn't rated 5 is that the leaves are muted and don't stand out very well. There is also a plastic cover on the candles that I don't know whether or not to remove. The timer function and remote control work well. I use occasionally so can't rate battery life.They would be great if the remote would have been in the box. Now I can't operate the timer. I will increase the stars to 5 if you can get me a remote. I tried to do it through the order but got nowhere.
