I'm reviewing just the version that is 16-foot, USB-connect only without the remote/dimmer control. Totally awesome! Exactly what I was looking for because it seems like most options out there are either short-length with battery or long-length with power-plug. The world needs short-length USB-only! Well, maybe not the whole world. Anyway, these strings are great for three big reasons. First, the USB connector cable is like 4 feet long all on its own which was such a welcome surprise. Secondly, this version is just ON/OFF without any anxiety-producing blinking modes and all that nonsense. And third, because they are just that simple, these operate fantastically when connected to a Smart-Plug for timer control. Most strings that have modes and remotes will not turn back ON when source power is cycled because they still require the remote to turn them back ON manually. Thank you for exactly what I needed!
