Bought 4 of these for holiday decor. Did not have trouble installing batteries and getting it to work. Each one uses 4 AA batteries, which may be a lot for some of us. However, the light effects and the decor it adds is worth it. 8 months later, they are still working as good as new! I find myself turning them on just to feel festive even if it’s not festive seasonThese lights are so awesome! They are bright and fun. Everyone in the neighborhood loved them and I had to buy some for my brother (he was jealous, too). The timers work well and the batteries did not run out too quickly. The variation of the "twinkle" of the lights makes everything even more festive. I might have to buy some more.Pleasantly surprised! It’s really cute!Used this for the 4th of July got lots on comments from the neighbors. Best 4th with out all the loud noise.My Yard looks beautiful during night with these Fireworks Lights. Highly recommend!These lights are so pretty! They added just the right amount of sparkle for our outdoor Christmas decor. Loved all the different settings. The only negative thing about them is the remote control isn’t the most responsive. You have to get really close to the lights for the remote to do anything. I put them on a tree just outside our dining room window and figured I could control them from there but I had to go outside in the cold to do it. Not ideal but they were still worth it. Luckily it never got too cold in December.We purchased this 4 pack after seeing them on our neighbors lawn during the holiday season and knew we had to have it. They held the battery charge throughout the holiday season and surprisingly endured the weather as well! I would recommend them and would be open to buying more down the road.Pros:1) The remotes have a decent distance, allowing me to turn them on from just inside.2) They were bright and a decent size. I was expecting 8-10" but they were surprisingly bigger.3) Battery lasted the holiday season. We used rechargable Duracell batteries.4) The hook to hang them on was large enough to latch on to branches for a couple of them.Cons:1) They are not based on a timer. That would be helpful and remove the daily need of turning them on.2) The strands at the top stayed up well but could still be a bit more resilient.I am so glad I purchased this set of Starburst Lights - with 220 LED lights - as they were perfect for Christmas and hanging outside of my house from my front tree. The four-pack was at a good price; I ordered 2 sets to outfit my entire tree. They were easy to set up and held their glow for the entire season - probably for 6 weeks on 4 AA batteries for each light set. Received many compliments and referred neighbors to Amazon to get these for their trees as well. The remote has a timer setting that also held its 24 hr time - so each night the lights came on at exactly the same time and went out after 6 hours. Very pleased all around!!!
