I was hoping these would be brighter. However, the product is and operates as described. The strands (2 x approx 30') are pretty long and lights illuminate consistently the whole lengths. They are easy to shape and position and the wires have enough rigidness to hold their form as you bend wire into shapes or around items. Be careful not to bend multiple times in one spot or they will break. Also, be sure not to pull them as you undo them or arrange them. If you are not careful and they twist they will kink if you pull. If they twist or bend around itself, do not twist it back but rather back the wire straight in the opposite direction to undo twists, curls, etc. The wires are very thin so not sure how long they will hold up outdoors with being blown, elements, corrosion, etc but they will work. I am using them indoors and they are perfect for that. The remote works well and there is a decent selection of patterns although I am just using solid on. The button on the battery case works just as the remote but no dim feature. The dim feature on the remote works and is a nice option.I was hoping to use these to light up collectables within a display cabinet. They do, but softly. Not enough to make cabinet contents bright no matter how I configure them (up and down, across , double or triple up lengths, etc). The LED's are a nice white (very slight blue hue but not bad) but they give off a "glow" as opposed to emitting light. What do you expect for 30' of wire on 3 AA batteries. They are however, perfect for ambient, accessory or accent lighting. Just don't expect to be reading under these or like I wanted to illuminate a display case really well. Just really good for creating an ambience. Too bad they were not a bit brighter and used a 9v battery. We will see how long they last........Customer service from the seller (Lyhope) were great. I only got 1 of the 2 remotes. Messaged them through Amazaon and the same day got reply they will send another remote and then followed with another message it was sent (I assume it will arrive)
