These work perfect. I only had to use 3 for my under my cabinets but it offers the lighting I need. I did not use the adhesive, I used the clips and screws for better stability. There is no motion detection that I have noticed but I have not looked for this setting. However, if you are looking for under cabinet lighting I would recommend these.
