Good light intensity and color.Mounted to inside of boat hardtop, rough fiberglass surface.Used Sikaflex to adhere, so far so good.Easily cut with scissors. Very bright and the color + brightness are very uniform. I attached is to the side of a step in our living room, where guests often trip, and it is on non-stop. Also, washing the floor with soap and water did not had any adverse effect on the adhesive or the light. So, why 4 stars? Because when one peels the plastic at the back, it come of TOGETHER with the double side adhesive tape. It took me some time to figure it out but once I did, everything was perfect.The strip is definitely water resistant. The adhesive however is a joke. I learned where to put thumb tacks thru to hold it in place (thankfully the strip is not visible on my particular install). It's easily powered with the two diff end connectors, but if you want to cut and splice it's a real pain:The connectors are not designed for this light strip, you have to pull away siliconThe connectors are not waterproof in the least bitThe connectors are not very secure.I had to buy extra connectors with lead wires attached to get my project done.This is just an ok light strip. I like the color temperature, but the leds are pretty dim, which makes them good for ambiance, but kind of poor for usable light. The adhesive on the strip is junk and came off of the strip before I could even try adhering it to anything. I replaced it with some 3m exterior tape which works very well. There were also a few bad leds on the strip when I got it, but they were close to the end, so I figured I'd just live with that, but now a couple others have gone after limited usage.ok quality, had to buy a different type of adhesive and the lights were not as bright as I expected.lasted three weeks out side before Adhesion fail from the roof.
