The low profile is perfect for our 3rd floor finished attic where the ceilings are low. I like using wire nuts to connect the fixture wires to power, but it was hard to fit the wire nuts into the small channels provided, so it was hard to get the fixture to lay flush against the ceiling. The wire color codes were new IEC (European) style with brown for hot and blue for neutral, less familiar to me than the US standard of black for hot and white for neutral, but not a big problem once you realized that. Although the installation was more challenging than expected, the final look and performance are fine.
