Just received these pucks, they work fine for extra lighting in my kitchen. Adhesives, aren't that strong, you'd have to really push it onto the surface you want to stick it to. The added screws, I only got 7...and there are 6 pucks, so I'm missing 5 :( . The pucks would likely stay put if I'd been given the full 12, but oh well. I'm sure I can buy find the extra screws either around the house or at HD.I was needing some light added to a closet and got a party with it! These lights are great! The white is a true white instead of the white with the blue hue most leds with color have. Light up the closet great! Then you have the color settings which are just so fun. I plan to buy more for other places in the house and I love that you don't need the remote to turn them on too.I used quite a few of these to light up my dining room. These were the highest rated puck lights in terms of battery life. Don't put in a low voltage mAh AA battery. For example, the lights did not like the 1200 mAh batteries I put in a couple of these. EBL 2800 mAh batteries are ideal. They are also highly rated. In the end, you get what you pay for. I hope to have these to make my dining room a special place for years to come.I put one of these over my office door to indicate when I'm on a call or recording a video so no one comes in. I was hoping to use the remote from my desk and just assumed it was Bluetooth, but it's not. It needs to be pointed right at the light. I put the rest up under my cabinets and I really like them. Overall it's great, just my user error not paying attention to what kind of remote it is.Not much to say other than these things work great! Lights can switch between a few preset colors by pressing on each light or can be controlled together with either of the 2 included remotes (more colors and dimming available via remote). Work great in my backyard observatory!I give 4 stars not because it is not good and doesn't work they work extremely well and I love them but the amount of light is kinda a problem but would differently recommend for a smaller area instead of a bedroomGreat addition to our floating shelves but the adhesive could be stronger. Came in the house the other day and one had fallen and batteries were scattered. Luckily durable item and still works.Wife loves having the extra light under the cabinets in the kitchen. We do have to point the remote at each light to turn on and off but I like that I do have to do it that way so if I only need one of them on, I only have to turn on the one I want on. Wife likes turning all 6 of them on so she has to point at each one of them. You can also just press the light you want on/off if you want, you just have to press it thru all 4 main colors to turn off.Being a battery powered light I had concerns about them not being practical for every day use. So after recieving these I decided to see just how long they would last on a set of batteries. I installed some Duracell rechargeable batteries into one of them and turned it on and left it on. It lasted just over 40 hours! Which to be honest is 4x what I was expecting and makes them great for light daily use. They are simple to use, can be installed any where. They can be operated by simply pressing on the light to turn them on, cycle through the colors and turn them off again or by the remote. The remote has the ability to charge colors, brightness or even set them to turn off automatically after 30 or 60 minutes. I can honestly say I'm excited about these lights and will be buying more of them.I have an extreme dislike for ceiling lights and prefer to have spots of light that collectively contribute to a dim atmosphere. These puck lights are fantastic, they come with 6 (no batteries), a remote and 3M double sticky tape. Installation is exactly what you think it is: put in batteries and place with stickers. The adhesion is decent but I recommend holding the puck light in place for 10-15 seconds to make sure it holds. The remote is super handy - I can set the mood with one click and the distance and connection are very good! Haven't had to double-tap once and the various lighting modes are pretty sweet although I mostly use the warm, you can set strobe or fade modes if you're feeling fancy. These are great little lights I installed them under my kitchen cabinets and the light they give out is pretty amazing. Especially in the morning for making coffee, when you don't want to turn on a bright light . The pictures I took were of this morning so you can see how much light they give out. I even tried with some color so you can see the effect. The only downside is you need a lot of batteries they each take 3 batteries would be even better if they were usb rechargeable. But all else they are a great addition.I do reccomend them .Thanks Cadrim
