Tom Bell, a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, performs a program of contemporaryworks for organ including Sir Peter Maxwell Davies most innovative pieces for young musicians. Thedisc also includes world premieres from Martin Bussey (Head of Academic Music at Chetham s Schoolof Music). The Blackburn cathedral organ specification (Walker 1969/Wood 2002) is the magnificentinstrument on which this exciting new program of organ music is performed.
