The low profile is perfect for our 3rd floor finished attic where the ceilings are low. I like using wire nuts to connect the fixture wires to power, but it was hard to fit the wire nuts into the small channels provided, so it was hard to get the fixture to lay flush against the ceiling. The wire color codes were new IEC (European) style with brown for hot and blue for neutral, less familiar to me than the US standard of black for hot and white for neutral, but not a big problem once you realized that. Although the installation was more challenging than expected, the final look and performance are fine.Lights were perfect for our master bedroom closet. The wife was complaining about the closet being dark, and it spans the width of our room, so I wired three of these together. Problem solved and happy wife. It was also great to find these in 3000K color temperature, which is easier on the eyes for a bedroom.I didn't have ceiling boxes to wire these to, and installing boxes would have required an electrician, so I drilled a small hole through each light to run lamp cord that I soldered and shrink tubed. I then ran the wire along the inside framing of the closet for a clean look. They are all controlled by a single surface-mounted switch that plugs into the wall.Love how bright the light is - perfect. Not real thrilled with mounting hardware/mounting system. It is pretty straight forward, but does not leave a-lot of room between ceiling and the fixture base plate for the twist on wire connectors. There is a groove on either side, but it is difficult to position and keep the nuts there when trying to snap in place the fixture to the ceiling.Only took a quick review lookup for this item to see how to wire...I'm pretty happy with this purchase but not with the lack of instructions. The light is super bright by like double the fluorescent I had in there before but the plastic cover keeps it just right. I like that its flush mounted and took some fiddling to get the wires+wire nuts to make it fit flush but finally got it mounted and happy overall.I needed a slim and bright light for our closet . Shelf was close ceiling & wall . This worked perfectly and easy to installLight is perfect for the area I installed in. Easy to install and bright. This is a very good light. The only problem was left by the guy that installed the previous light. This one is great.Liked everything about this light was easy to install over kitchen sink, very bright easier to see to wash dishes and area lighting, would buy again! Die Erste hat schon den Transport nicht überstanden (verbeultes Aluprofil).Decent quality but feels quite flimsy due to very lightweight construction, which however is a positive for ease of handling and installation. Easy two clip mounting straight to plaster board as there is little weight to support. Short length of 2 core supply cable fitted which limits positioning choice as it exits the fitting near to one end. There are no access cutouts for the cable to exit the back of the unit. The only option without substantial modification is for the supply cable to be routed from the end or the first 80mm or so from the side. There is no earth connection to the aluminium body. Overall I am pleased with the purchase. The light output is a vast improvement over the 100w incandescent it replaced, quite adequate to illuminate o single sized garage.Extremely problematic to install so gave up and got a different light. The light is fine but the issue is installing it. It has metal claws which are screwed onto a ceiling and the light clips on. This is rather fiddke as the claws disapoear inside the light and are tricky to engage. The biggest problem is the wiring. The light has a short wire with bare contacts extending about 9 inches from one end of the light. This only reaches about halfway to the middle so if your power wires are there you have an instant problem. The wire itself is soldered directly to the circuitry do you also can't replace this with a longer wire.It gets worse. If you want the light to sit flush on a ceiling there is almost no space between the ceiling and the light body for connections to go and nowhere to connect wires on the light. All you get are two bare wires coming from the light, so if you have power wires coming from your ceiling you need a terminal block to join the wires safely. But there's no room for even a small terminal block under the light, even if you split it into separate connections. If you have space in the ceiling to tuck away your terminal blocks you can do that but if you don't, you're doomed. The only connector that might work is a barrel crimp connector but the whole setup is awkward and fiddly. For this reason, I gave up and returned the light. Waste of two hours.Hardly used in garage. I'd say it has been on for an amazing 2hrs and it has stopped working. Occasionally it will flicker on for a second and then go off again.ooops. I have to add a retraction to the above statement and change the review for the product as the product was not faulty. It turns out the terminal stripblock to which the wiring was attached was the fault point. After rewiring; the light is working perfectly; no flickering...Produit très légerAprès quelques jours d'utilisation le tube est devenu bruyant.
