I am very pleased with this product. The purple is nice and bright but not obnoxiously so. We are using it outside wrapped around a tree as part of our Halloween decorations, and it can be easily seen down the block. Length is long enough to go around our tree a few times, but if I wanted to do the whole tree I would need several more strands.These string lights are decent. They're not too bright, but just bright enough. The tube they run through is a little stiff and they don't give you enough hangers at all. If it was a little brighter and they gave more mounts it'd probly get a higher rating.I use these under my car to keep pests away. I will probably be purchasing more to decorate my back deckI mounted a motion sensor inside the closet and also added an outlet to that switch. Plugged these in to the outlet and taped it to the inside of the door jam. Now e can see every shelf in the pantry closet and will not forget to turn them off. The screws that come the clips are very small and not suitable for drywall. I’ll suggest pre-drilling if you attempt to use them in a wooden door jam. For now, the tape seems to be holding up.I bought two sets and have them out on my lanai on the railings screen. The light up my lanai and love the timer that can be set for the number of hours that you would like to have them on from dusk.Used for RV while camping. ThanksUsed the lights to add lights to my front porch. They work fine after a few weeks. Time will tell if they last as long as advertised. One minor point is the mounting clips included have two predrilled holes in each clip, but there are not enough screws included to mount two screws on each bracket. Have ration the screws carefully, as you only have enough screws to use one screw per bracket.
