Worked out perfectly. The remote control is very convenient. We have just moved into our new place just before Halloween this year (2021). What you see in this photo was "most" of the lights that come in this kit--it extends probably another ten feet out of camera range. Quite generous, in other words. It comes with three identical remote controls like these cheap import goods. Unfortunately, they are pretty useless at adjusting colors and speed--more accurately, you have to fuss with them to get them to do what you want them to do.I like these small fairie-style lamps. The LED is molded into the two silver wires that run between the lights. There are three LED lights within each "bulb," which creates the light spectrum. These wires that connect the lights are incredibly fine. You would expect that they are delicate, which they are not.If you haven't worked with these micro-mini lights, the problem is not letting the wires kink. The only way to do this is to go nice and slow--they are hellacious to straighten after they do kink. When you are finished with them, toilet rolls can be a way sore them for next year. They could certainly be used yearly--I know some folks who throw them out because they are so inexpensive. Unlike more conventional lighting for the holidays, you could leave these up all year and not let your house be "the one" in the area with big trashy lights up all year.I like 'em. I'm glad I bought the light sets. They are silly cheap. Next Halloween, we will add to these that we have. We have a perfectly spooky neighborhood. We are in a gloomy-for-Halloween forest of about 150 houses. We collectively give out the "good candy," which over the years has become known. Purple blinky lights shining on a dark, tiny road? Perfect atmosphere! Wanna have fun? Come by and hide behind a huge pine--pop out and make spooky noises--it's great fun! If you have an area like this, you will be as spooky as you can be.The color and brightness is good, but only two of the 3 purchased would light up.Avoid at all costs. These were a terrible disappointment. Were very cute, for about 5 minutes. Brand new double AA batteries… tried different sets from different packages and it dies so very quickly. Barely long enough to go through the cycles trying them out. I thought I was imagining how dim it got, within minutes of turning it on. It’s not even worth the cost of sending them back. So I basically have fancy useless wire with beads of color from the fairy lights. Suckers take 3 batteries each and I’m not sure what type the controllers have, since those come pre-installed.Works great. Difficult to keep from tangling but I love it! So glad I got them!Set these all up and after 2 days more than half of them don't work.I had it on my corn husks and they just stopped working in less than 3 days... I didn't want to dismantle my halloween decorations so I just added orange lights that I got from the dollar store over them and the dollar store lights worked great .. Looking at my order now I didn't realize I spent $27.55 for this crap.... I should have dismantled my corn husks and sent them back....I gave them one star only because I felt I had to in order to do this review.....These aren't like xmas lights. They are super small thin wire lights with a large battery pack (in comparison to the lights).
