These are super cute and I got a lot of compliments when I used them during a party. However, the suction cups were useless in my pool (salt water, all levels well within desired range, no algae). We tried the magnets, which were better but after people were in the pool, not even near the lights, the lights had all slipped. Then we thought they would look cool on the bottom and went to move them and discovered one significantly leaking. We had followed the directions carefully to avoid but figured we messed up somehow so reset the back and tried again...it continued to leak so we used it elsewhere for fear it would ruin the liner. We just discovered another one is leaking but since we pulled them all for winter, we figure we'll just try again with them next year. I would suggest just taking them out whenever they won't be in use. These awesome lights are beautiful in the pool or elsewhere and the remote works well. I ordered the 4-pack which came with 2 remotes and when all lights are inside our 18’ round pool they all illuminate well with one remote. HOWEVER, upon placing the 3rd light into the pool I noticed teeny bubbles from the seal. Water had seeped in so I dried and placed the light in some dry silica gel overnight. Meanwhile, I Seal-a-Mealed the other lights. That’s right; I sealed them like Christmas cookies! I don’t trust that the others won’t leak in several days’ time. I even vacuum-sealed the remote to keep it poolside. TIP: if you have a soft-sided Intex (or other) pool, like I do, forget the suction cups and get to the hardware store. Get you some large steel washers (take your light with you) so that the magnets will attach the (sealed) lights under the water for you. Underwater lighting is truly magical. If above the surface they just annoy your eyes. Takeaway: seal your lights, seal your remote, get large washers to magnet lights to soft vinyl pool. Enjoy! I will edit if these lights die before August 21st cuz that’s my last return date.I love the lights themselves, and that they don't require a traditional power source. But expectations need to be managed up front. The suction cups don.t work that well. So I honestly just toss them into the pool and let them rest where they will. Also one of the lights not long after use decided it wasn't going to respond to the remote control. I removed the batteries, put them back in hoping this would reset the light, but no dice. Anyway they're cool, and its awesome to have the color changing lights at night, so no we move on.These lights are kinda neat. Biggest drawback I've found is the under water remote response. Very short distance. Button battery tests high, but you have to stand right over the light 4-5 feet away at most to get a response. Disappointing. I have the remote in a ziploc bag because it is NOT waterproof. That doesn't restrict the remote at all. Also, we have a vinyl liner pool, and for some reason the suction cups don't want to stick. I put one one the stairs in the shallow end horizontally and it stayed for a while and lit up the pool pretty well. Advice: I put the lights in my kitchen sink overnight to make sure there would not be any issues. Yes, with water! Going to offer two to my neighbor for his pool. Nice to have two remotes. These are beautiful. We purchased two sets for our pool and to our surprise one remote operates both sets. Each set came with two remotes, so we’re set if we lose one or battery dies before we can replace. If I had the space I’d order more. They don't last very long, so you'll need to change batteries every couple of days. The remote doesn't have *great* range. For my pool, I should have bought 2 sets to make it bright enough. The auction cups aren't great, either, and you'll have to dive down and rescue them every so often. They're okay if you just want a little extra flair for an event or party, but not something for everyday use because replacing the batteries every few days can get really expensive. We purchased 12 of these due to reviews of not being really bright. They put off a lot of light for a small light. The magnet held great on our steel wall, liner, in ground pool. The only reason we are giving them 3 stars is because the seal was bad in one light (see pictures) and it ruined the light instantly. Th remote doesn't have great range either. Our lights are just a few inches under water and you have to be right on top of the light for it to work. They really are a fun addition to your pool just read the reviews and know what you're getting into. I would definitely buy these again even after the one light leaked. I haven't tried to contact the company or send it back yet and don't want to sound like we are bashing the company. I just hope they send a single replacement light? These look great & we love using them at night, but the suction isn’t the greatest. They are usually all on the bottom of the pool by morning. That said, they are easy to “install” so we keep them in a basket and if we’re going to use them that night we quick stick them around the pool that day/night!These fall off my shower tiles after a few hours, they could be brighter, and the remote could work better for 30 dollars. It doesn't turn both pucks on at once sometimes depending on how you angle it. These were the only ones i could find this cheap with suction cups and they don't even work that well. Overpriced if you ask me. Still somewhat satisfied with my purchase. They make showering enjoyable. They work well but the remote range isn’t the greatest. We are purchasing an additional 4 so that we can also have the pool brighter. Not sure about the battery life as we have only used them once. Nice effect. Great colours. Ours did stay suctioned to the wall without any issues.Very deceptive ad , " 2 packs" is actually on 2 pucks. The word pack is plural meaning one should expect more that one pack, which has 2 pucks in it. I paid considerably more for these based on that. Amazon should not be putting up with thisnot water proof. even using plumbers tape as suggested. still garbageThe Submeridible lights are a great addition to the pool. Night time swimming is very pretty with the lights on.Lots of color and light functions available. As stated, when the lights are underwater, you have to be close to the lights for the remote control to work.
