I like that they are rechargeable on good price. Honestly, I found that we have not really used our patio umbrella much this summer at night, but it was too late to return this product, so I am just keeping it for future use.I am using it on my outdoor table, and during a hotpot party we had everyone out with their flashlights even though i have string lights. This made it SO CLEAR and BRIGHT. Its only drawback is the on and off button is for some reason the same color and texture as the main device making it a little harder to find when needed. Otherwise its a really nice piece for the price.Nice light but did not come with batteries like the description saidI paired this with the "Renogy Portable E.Flex Monocrystalline 5W Plus Solar Panel" to get a solar light solution for my existing patio table market umbrella. The solar panel charges the light by day and you turn on the light after the sun diminishes for lots of evening light on your patio table. The solar panel can fully charge the light in one day. Easy to mount the solar panel to the umbrella with two zip ties. I ended up purchasing 3 sets for my 3 patio tables. The only thing that could be better was if the light had a mode where the light would come on when the charging stopped. Then you wouldn't have to manually turn it on and it would be hands free. Oh well, I can't have everything.They add light when sitting under the umbrella. The downside is they don't fit well around a larger umbrella pole. I have to keep the light opened and place it in the arms of the umbrella but it worksJust used this for the first time last night. The light is quite bright, even on the lowest setting. And depending on where you place it on the pole, can be a bit too harsh. So a friend suggested turning it upside down so that the light shines on the umbrella. Perfect solution. No harsh light in your eyes. I love the dual power source feature, though I have no idea if it uses the rechargeable battery first, which would make sense. A little hard to install and locate the switches in the dark, but otherwise easy.The charge lasts a long time, but the on/off button is hard to see. I would prefer a remote because it’s also hard to reachThis fit easily around tent pole and stayed in place. It can be moved up or down with not effort and does offer several levels of light.
