takes a while to assemble. the flag lantern is super cute, comes flattened out, you need to pull it open then attach the plastic piece to hold it open and then attach each light into the plastic piece in order to hang. i bought 5 sets for the holiday to hang out on the gutter and hedges. So plan accordingly for assembly time. Other than that...totally adorable everyone loves them.I thought I was purchasing the battery operated product.Love them! However, mine was missing one lantern. ? They are a little tricky to assemble or I am just lame.The lights were very difficult to assemble, but once they were put together, they look very nice!Takes a little time to put together (gently) but they are nice.Don't know how long the color will last in the sun.Not sure why this review form asked about a remote control - there isn’t one. These lights are super cute, but difficult to assemble. The lights themselves came with a loose wire and won’t stay lit. Disappointing.I could not put this together the instructions were terrible and it would not go together.Like the other reviews these are cute once assembled- super frustrating and difficult to assemble- without any real instructions-there’s no 1 “easy” way to assemble IMO- just however you can figure it out. My advice if you can find them already assembled PAY for it!!!
