Nice effects & the remote works, but that’s where the fun ends.The weakness of the product is the cheap battery holder and connectors that break easily and render the item useless. Poor design and cheap components. I changed the batteries ONCE and the holder and connectors couldn’t take it.Also, why does a such a small number of energy “efficient” LED lights require four AA batteries?? It’s a waste, and battery life is not good at all.I threw them in the trash and will not buy them again.Only three of the four were in working order - one broke off upon hanging it as if the cord had been cut. The remotes are great - BUT, you have to be within a few feet to operate. So, turning them on and off from the warmth of my home was not an option.I bought about 14 of these balls and hung them outside as Christmas decor. They were snowed and rained on and still work. The most important thing is to use good batteries (they take 4 each) and if the lights become dim, change the batteries. Easy to store and everyone loves them.
